Childrens Liturgy

The Children’s Liturgy Ministry is dedicated to planning and coordinating Children’s Masses throughout the liturgical year. At each Children’s Mass, we invite school-aged children in the parish to participate in several parts of the mass. Children greet fellow parishioners before the mass, they proclaim the 1st and 2nd readings, read the intercession prayers, and bring the communion and offertory gifts to the alter. Each Children’s Mass can involve 20 or more children.

Our goal is to involve as many children as possible in each Children’s Mass. We work with the LBC teachers to invite children to participate. We also use the weekly bulletin to announce sign-ups for Children’s Masses.
